Cammy Jensen and Dianna Iwaniec, the owners of Preferred Accounting, attend their first NATP tax conference in Phoenix Arizona. This is a 4 day long conference that reviews tax law changes, updates and courses that further our tax knowledge. It also provides us with our continuing education that is required to maintain our Enrolled Agent status with the IRS, which is great for our clients.
The conference couldn’t have been any better! We met so many people from across the nation and were able to hear how they run their practice; everyone is so different and no tax office is the same. Dianna Iwaniec enjoyed learning about the upcoming changes of how the IRS is going to consider repairs and improvements and Cammy Jensen enjoyed learning about the details of audits. We both had light bulb moments and can’t wait to help our clients when the time comes.
This conference was much better the the IRS forums that we’ve been used to going. Next year it’s in Florida and we’re looking forward to it.
